Among the favorites list were bands like AC/DC and Van Halen, Staind and Alice in Chains. It wasn’t until high school that Kyle found Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Turnpike Troubadours, leading to a shift in musical taste. He started playing and writing music in his sophomore year of high school, and started a band after leaving for College Station. After 4 years of playing country music, Kyle’s taste gradually came back to rock. Now he’s out on his own, with a new sound that’s deep, honest, authentic, and unapologetic. Combining the red dirt flavor of Ragweed with the heavy angst and hard hitting lyrics of Three Days Grace, Kyle finds his sound in his debut record ‘Toxic’, 10 songs written from the deepest parts of his heart.
